TONE TEKNIX is a small team of manufacturer certified stringed instrument and amplifier/ electronics technicians, focused on professional touring & recording. Our services include servicing, maintenance, repairs, modifications, and upgrades. We also work on many other electronic devices; including microphones, keyboards, speakers, cables, rack equipment, road cases, and much more. We have a couple promotional offers right now.

Guitar Setup; adjust action, truss rod, intonation, and machine heads, fretboard conditioning, re-string, polish, tune, and a complete electronics diagnostics (bring own strings or ask for our list)… $40

Tube Amp Service and Bias: including biasing and hum adjustment, securing all contacts and connections, lubricating all potentiometers and switches, inspection & diagnostics of component operations, and cleaning interior & exterior of amp (bring own tubes or ask for our list)…$50

Drum Set Servicing: including clean & polish interior and exterior of shell, lubricating all lugs/tension rods, re-heading as necessary (bring new heads, ask for our list, or use the old heads), calibrate and re-level snares, adjust all screws and hardware, stretch and tune heads, case cleaning, clean & polish cymbals. $35/Drum (not snare), $40/Snare, $10/ cymbal, $5/case (singles). 20% off with 4-piece kit or more!

Private Instruction

Including how to set up your own stringed instrument, electronics servicing, complex pedal board configurations, MIDI & computer integration, touring & recording advice, and more… $50/hr

Before touring, Ryan was an Authorized Warranty Repair Senior Technician for stringed instruments, amplifiers, and other electronic devices at one of the largest instrument repair facilities in the country, String Masters. While working there as District Manager, he completed 6 college degrees and several certifications in the fields of Music Technology, Music Theory, Stage Performance, Live Sound Reinforcement, Recording Arts, Digital Audio Production, Amplifiers & Electronics, Stringed Instruments, Pro Tools Software, and Wireless Coordination. Ryan's professionalism, musical talents, tactical precision, and digital wizardry have allowed him to work with hundreds of A-level artists & major corporations for more than 15 years, in more than 60 countries, with dozens of endorsement relationships, White House clearance, and pockets full of MacGyver tricks.
