Warranty and Support

– What is the warranty and support policy?

All Teknix products have a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects and workmanship. All media has a 30 day warranty. Lifetime Support & Service for all Teknix products, contact us for more information.

Privacy Policy

-What do you do with my personal information?

We will never share or sell your personal information. You will only receive materials from us if you’re subscribed to the Teknix Concepts Newsletter, receiving information pertaining to purchases, or by responses to your messages and questions.


Shipping Policy

-How does my new product ship?

We use the United States Postal Service to ship all our products.

 -When will I receive my new product(s)?

Please expect 7-10 business days for processing and shipping. Rush shipping is available, contact us before purchasing.

 -Can I track my packages?

A tracking number will be provided to you, after some or all of the items have been shipped, and it will be sent to the email provided during checkout.

-Is international shipping available?

Shipping prices are for US only, additional charges apply for international orders, contact us before purchasing.

Product Return Policy

-What can I return?

You may return most new, unopened items (still in plastic) within 30 days of the receipt for a partial refund. Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error cannot be returned. Any CD’s or DVD’s that have been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap) cannot be returned.

-When should I file a return or replacement?

You must file a return or replacement within 30 days of the receipt.

-How do I request a refund and process a return?

Please contact us directly for any returns or refunds.  You will be sent an email with a required Return Authorization Number and specific instructions on where and how to ship your products.  You must use the preferred shipping method described in this letter for all returns and include your Return Authorization Number.  Once the item has passed quality control and is restocked, a refund will be authorized and you will be notified through email.

-How do I get my money back?

After a refund is authorized, you will receive a check in the mail within 30 days, for the calculated refund balance.  This calculated balance will be determined as the total price paid, including all applicable taxes, less 20% of all applicable items and all shipping costs.

 

Example:

 -Total Paid for Items = $119.65
Item $99.95 + Tax $8.75 + Shipping $10.95

 -Total Refund for Items = $77.76
Item (–20%) $79.96 + Tax $8.75 – Return Shipping $10.95

Product Replacement Policy

-What if my new product is damaged or defective?

Teknix Concepts will Guarantee all products against manufacturer defects for one year on Teknix products like cables, adapters, switchers, etc. and 30 days on all media types and clothing. We can only replace the exact item and version you ordered. If you want to exchange for a different item, you will need to return the item and place a new order.  In most cases a replacement product will be shipped to you within 7-10 business days, with no additional charges or shipping costs, if the damage can be proven or expressed in a tangible form (such as a photograph or verbally communicated description).  In some cases you will be required to return the defective product before a replacement can be issued, in which case you must comply with our preferred shipping method and attach the required Return Authorization Number. Please contact us for specific instructions pertaining to your situation.

-What if my new product was damaged in shipping?

You must file a claim immediately with the shipping company (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.). They request day of or day after.  After you file with them, contact us.  Please have your pertaining claim number and related info available so we can issue a new order and replacement product(s) to be shipped.

Tone Teknix Repair Policy

-What is the warranty on repairs?

All sales are final unless otherwise noted. Parts and labor warranty is 30 days from date of pickup, and only covers parts and labor provided.

Customer’s signature acknowledges the pre-existing condition of instrument left for repair, and this is an estimate only. Upon notification of completion of repair work, instruments left beyond 90 days are considered abandoned and become property of Tone Teknix. Customer’s signature acknowledges that all work was performed as requested and equipment is functioning properly to the customer’s satisfaction. For warranty, a copy of the original receipt must be submitted before completion of work.

Section 9844 of the California Business & Professional Code requires a written estimate shall be given to the Customer by the Service Dealer.

Other Information

-What do I need to have ready before filing a return or replacement?

In order to complete the return or replacement process you’ll need the order number, name of purchaser, date of transaction, and information regarding the method of payment.

-What is the preferred method of shipping for returns or replacements?

We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number to include with the returning item(s), and a pre-paid printable shipping label with predefined addresses and other information required by the United States Postal Service.  Apply the new shipping label on top of the old, and deliver it to a United States Postal Service location.
